COLLECTION STORYTELLING
Product across multiple categories was seasonally designed to globally align to Puma's initiatives as well as tell a unique and relevant story in North America. The specific needs of the US market brought challenges to global alignment but at the same time provided opportunities for product innovation in the accessory categories.
BALL INNOVATION
Trend forward graphic design and consistent utilization of varying ball technologies allowed for massive category expansion and rapid sales growth .
SPORT PROTECTION
The burgeoning youth soccer movement in the US has brought sport protection to the forefront as players begin playing at earlier ages.
This brought opportunities to expand the category and innovate into new products like the EVO 360.
In order to address the gaps in rear leg, ankle and achilles protection the EVO 360 program was created. With youth participation on the rise it became apparent that increased protection for both the younger participants as well as the adult, high performance athletes was needed. Muscle movement, locations and impact priorities were all taken into consideration when the molded EVA pad was designed.
